Correspondence Courses

Subject:
Inking

The actual size of the course book is 11" x 17"
and contains 48 pages.

Inking Order Inking
Finishing a cartoon drawing with the use of pen, brush, and ink has been the procedure used since the earliest times of cartoon publications, beginning hundreds of years ago. Line art is the simplest and least expensive form of reproduction for publications.

This is still the form used in comic book production today.

This course teaches varieties of applications of styles, light and shadow procedures and the ability to use these mainstay tools: pen, brush, and ink. In addition, Joe shows and explains his approach to inking in step-by-step demonstrations on the video included with this (and every other) course.
