Critique Comments:

"TOP:
Very good first 'penciling' assignment, Tom. Work for a cleaner, definite line - less sketchy. Keep working on your anatomy and details (fingers, toes, etc.)

NOTES:
Fg1
Extended arms result in muscles less balloon like
Inside elbows are seen from this position
Watch details of hands and fingers
Leg a bit stranger

Fg2
Heavier arm / shoulder
Arm a bit too long
Back of knee
Spine
* Good figures - make pencil lines more definite

head 1
a little more chin
good character

head2
more chin
thicker neck

p1
Tom - use photographic references for details of old western town, desert landscape, etc.Don't try to make 'em up or draw from memory, it never works well.

P2
Show cowboy coming into town
Man a bit too large for horse

P3
Closer on shooter
Pointing gun at rider

Tom - you show very good drawing ability - the penciler is also the initial story teller and dramatizer. Plan your panel sequences more carefully.
