Critique Comments:

"TOP:
Nice first assignment, Mark. Please include your age with assignment #2.

CHARACTER SHEET
FIGURES:
   - Nice figure, but, in order to identify as a cowboy, certain materials should be evident, including and in addition to the hat.

   - short jacket
   - gun belt, etc.
   - leather chaps or jeans
   - not "work" boots
   - square toe, high heels and spurs

HEADS:
   - good character
   - watch eye construction

PANELS:
   - use photo reference for western town
   - town background
   - good figure on horse
   - detail on horses reins and bridle
   - whole figure of horse and rider should be shown- with background

Your drawings show a lot of potential, Mark-- but you must pay attention to details. Proper photographic reference is essential to the story's credibility. An old western town-- cowboy attire-- guns-- horses-- all must be drawn correctly.
Keep up the good work!

The blue washes of color are suggestions for black areas and shadows."
