Critique Comments:

"TOP:
Nice work, Brian. Your characters (and style) are charming! Keep it up!

MIDDLE:
BRIAN-
It's a good idea to work out some textures or/and designs for clothing and
boots -- it helps give a feeling of solidity to the figure -- and separates boots from legs and clothing (coat) from figure.

HEADSHOTS:
Try to convey the emotional facial expressions a little more intensely

PANELS:
   1. Footsteps - show progression and animation
   2. Rain hitting umbrella and dripping
     More rain texture
   3. Show water-filled footsteps leading up to boy
     More raindrops hitting water.
  4. Board not yet in water
     Reverse mirror image
   5. Taking big step forward
     Good shot of rain stopping
   6. BOARD.
     No rain
No rain in this last panel -- just dropping into water broken board

BRIAN-
Your character has a lot of empathy, Brian.
Work on facial expressions and more detail in backgrounds and background objects.
Your story sequence works well -- keep up the good work.
