Joe Kubert, writer, designer, illustrator and producer of Joe Kubert's World of Cartooning - The Correspondence Course - has had an illustrious career over the past 60 years as a comic book artist, publisher and educator. He has influenced the career of many of the cartoonists of today and of yesteryear.

Publishers Weekly (Oct., 1997).... "Kubert's signature graphic style; brisk, precisely rendered, emotionally charged linework in dramatically composed panels marks him as one of mainstream comics' most talented and celebrated interpreters of the horrors of war."

Joe, at age 11, began working as an apprentice for Harry "A" Chesler, a comic book production house and has worked in the field ever since. His 60 year history includes publishing, writing, editing and illustrating:

In 1976, Joe and his wife, Muriel, founded the world's only nationally accredited school specializing in cartoon-graphics, The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, Inc.

His body of work includes:

Sgt. Rock
Superman
Tarzan
Enemy Ace
Batman
Flash
Hawkman
Tor
1st 3-D comic book (1953) - Mighty Mouse
Robin Moore's Tales of the Green Beret, for the Chicago-New York News Syndicate
