I am in the process of graduating from a two year college and trying to decide whether or not JK is a financial option. Can anyone tell me what the cost is to attend Jk for a year?

Thanks for any information.

I am sorry. That should have been $13,350.00 US. I apologize for the error.

The other option would have been much better.

Isn't the admission price a bit steep. In order to put up this kinda cash I have to work for more than 10 month. Netto wage !!
If I ever win the lottery...

Considering the price at SVA or SCAD is about $20,000 a year plus housing for four years, Kubert School is a real bargain (plus it's only three years). I don't think you'll find many dedicated art schools (in any discipline) for less than $18K.

Oops ! I had no idea.
The evening school i attended charged about 3500 Belgian Francs, which should be around $ 87.50. This was for the last year in the early nineties. The school is sponsored (as it is with most schools) by the city.
Two evenings per week from 19.00h to 22.00h.

Craban:

Unfortunately the US government is more interested in making sure multi-multi-millionares have more "wealthfare" (welfare for the rich) than helping anyone else get an education. Europe is light-years ahead of the USA in most social support programs. Bush has put about two TRILLION dollars of middle-class and lower-class money collected from taxes at the disposal of his hyper-rich cronies. Just think what that money could have done if recycled into the economy for real rather than being stashed into securities (which is what the wealthy usually do with this money -- as we found out under Ronald Ray-gun).

If the school only cost this much I would come back and take animation too!
