Now that is beautiful man! From what I have seen of your work you should definitely follow through with sending in something to fleshrot or any company for that matter. I should be practicing more often but lately I have been trying to find the motivation to get started.

Don't overdo it, cos that will really hamper you. Draw as much as you can, whether it is 10 minutes a day, to 10 hours a day, and don't overdo it, draw when you feel like it, and draw whatever you want, whether it is from your imagination or a photo. The more you pus yourself without motivation, the more you will hate drawing. Wait until you have motivation. Read a book or a magasine, or read something like, for examplye, a legend from a book of mythology. Oft times that can be a great motivation, as it gives you ideas.

I try to draw at least an hour a day but yesterday when I was practicing on drawing the human head I kind of felt creative so I started drawing out what my main character would look like in this graphic novel that I plan on working on. Of course it is going to be horror I don't know I just have a knack for writing and drawing horrifying images. But I will take your advice on reading mythology. Do you have any names of books that I can look up?

The internet is a great resource. Also any Encyclopedia will often have a great selection of drawings, and paintings of all kinds of mythological beasts. That Horror book I recommended to you contains alot of drawings of fantasy creatures as well as doing a google search for mythology should give you a list of resources. Sometimes, by reading about the creature in a description, you may get your own image of what the creature looks like, and by digging up pictures of animals you can construct your own image of what the creature will look like.

I have a rough idea what my monster would look like, he would fake the appearence of a man by dressing like him, although his body is human shape but does not have the human features that of a man. It is a cross between a reptile and the creature from Aliens, the only difference is that instead of a tail it has tentacle like claws shooting out from each side of its waist. I was down at the hospital today and was trying to come up with a storyline of where this creature came from, so I was deciding on whether I should use the outer space concept or gear it towards H.P Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos, I forgot I had those books so I am trying to do some reading out of them and maybe I will come up with some ideas. The next thing that I have to worry about is developing characters that the readers can relate with. But what am I saying? I am just a beginning artist. I will try to post some of my work so you can decide whether or not I am ready for the actual construction of a comic book or graphic novel. As the old saying goes "Back to the drawing board"
